Panama's geographic location

Panama is located southeast of Central America, bordered on the north by the Caribbean Sea, south by the Pacific Ocean, east by Colombia and west by Costa Rica. Its Capital is Panama city.

It is a place meeting of several cultures. In its territory is located the Panama Canal, an important work that facilitates shipping between the Atlantic coast and the Pacific Ocean and has a great influence on world trade. Due to its geographical position currently offers the world an extensive platform of marine services, commercial real estate and financial services, where we highlight the "Zona libre de Colón", second in the world.

Its population exceeds by some three million inhabitants, which boasts a privileged position in various statistics of growth and development in Latin America, as per capita income, level of economic growth, globalization and life expectancy.

Colon City

Colon city is a port on the Caribbean Panama’s Coast. Located near to Atlantic entrance of the Panama Canal is considered a city of great commercial importance for the country through the Colón Free Zone (the second largest in the world) and the intense activity in the different ports.
Colon is certainly a wonderful City; its geographic location makes it's a pleasant place for visitor.   The north bordering by the Caribbean Sea,  the south by the province of Panama and Code,  and the west by Veraguas.  Its fundamental importance is focused on its long history and its relevance to the economics for Panama. At time of colony became the transit point of the treasures that the American colonists took.
The tourism sector is an attractive destination for economic influence in the world, but also has an exuberant nature.
One of the beautiful places of Colon is Portobelo, a small town of just 3000 people visited by tourists. Portobelo is ideal place for who enjoy diving. Relatively close to Isla Grande, the island longer and extensive in the region, surrounded by coral reefs is a perfect setting for diving, but also offers a coast for surfing.
We also find a beach of white sand, clear warm water and very quiet, ideal for tourists seeking rest and relaxation.
